Orland Chamber of Commerce

Vinsonhaler Park
This park offers a boftball field, Behler baseball field, horseshoe pits, lighted tennis courts, picnic tables, lollypop land, a childrens playground. The city swimming pool is also located here.

Lely Aquatic Park
This park offers fishing to community members in the small pond. Other activities include feeding the ducks at the pond, playing softball on the two fields, soccer field, little league baseball field, sand volleyball court, basketball court and picnic areas with tables and BBQ.

Irvine Finch River Access Area

This Park is located 11 miles east of Orland on the Sacramento River near Hamilton City. The Area offers a launch ramp, a 295-space parking lot for boat trailers, six enroute-style campsites for overnight RV camping, and restrooms This is Northern Californias only facility specifically designed for tubers and rafters. Raft and inner tube rentals are available May through September. Launch ramp is linited to boats under 15 ft. Long. Park hours are 6 am - 10 pm.

Mendocino National Forest

The Mendocino National Forest straddles the eastern spur of the Coastal Mountain Range in northwestern California. It is just a three hour drive north of San Francisco and Sacramento. Some 65 miles long and 35 miles across, the Forest's one million acres of mountains and canyons offer a variety of recreational opportunities- camping, hiking, backpacking, boating, fishing, hunting, nature study, photography, and off highway vehicle travel. Glenn County Golf and Country Club
Glenn County Golf and Country Club is a nine-hole regulation golf course located just 11 south of Orland. The course offers a full time golf professional, driving range and full snack bar. It is open to the public six days a week(except holidays) and is closed Mondays. While fairly flat, there are enough sand traps, eucalyptus and weeping willow trees to challenge any golfer. The two sets of tees form a par 72 course that is a respectable 6,509 yards and the greens are some of the finest in the Sacramento Valley.
